WordPress sites
WordPress sites and blogs for community groups, an editorial agency and a business association, with custom themes, plugins and analytics.
These sites all run on WordPress, the open-source CMS built on PHP and MySQL. Hosting WordPress directly on our own server meant I could edit the PHP source, templates and MySQL databases.
I work with plugins, themes and widgets, customize themes, and have installed and configured WordPress Multisite on new hosts, including moving domains to new hosting.
WordPress was chosen for its standards compliance, thousands of themes, spam protection, password-protected posts, easy import and backup, clean permalinks, nested categories and tags, and simple editing for clients. Theme PHP and HTML can also be edited for more advanced customization.
