All these sites use a PHP processor module, which generates the web page document achieving complete <strong>separation between design and the content presented<\/strong>. The data is all stored in a <strong>MySQL relational database management system<\/strong> (RDBMS). Website versioning through <strong>subversion<\/strong> ( <strong>tortoise svn<\/strong>). Other technologies used: <strong>PHP CAPTCHA<\/strong>, <strong>Google Map integrations<\/strong>, two <strong>WordPress blogs<\/strong> and <strong>Picasa Integration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Development:<\/span><br \/>\nPerformed full life-cycle development including;\u00a0 (1) Full Analysis: Working with all Stakeholders in the association (<strong>over 300 businesses<\/strong>) using all viewpoints and perspectives.\u00a0 (2) Specification Building: Building modules of the site including general layout, site navigation and dynamic parts of the site included in the spec sheet.\u00a0 (3) Design and development: Layouts and navigation were designed along with the MySQL database with all the data structures and sample data.\u00a0 (4) Coding: Added code without disturbing the design prototype. (4) Full Beta testing on the test server before going live.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Design:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All images, icons were created using <strong>Abode Photoshop<\/strong> and <strong>Adobe Illustrator CS<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Normalized MySQL database on a Linux\/Apache platform created, updated and maintained using the MySQL&#8217;s ER modelling tool <strong>MySQL Workbench<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>PHP hand coded using <strong>NetBeans<\/strong> and <strong>Dreamweaver<\/strong> (for folder syncing).<\/li>\n<li>Social Networking Integration with <strong>Facebook<\/strong>, <strong>Twitter<\/strong>, <strong>Foursquare<\/strong>, <strong>Gowalla<\/strong>, <strong>Yelp <\/strong>and <strong>MySpace<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Cloud:<\/span><br \/>\nFully Integrating <strong>Google Apps for the yorkbia.com domain<\/strong> using Google\u2019s servers as their company mail servers including POP access to allow for full e-mail backup into Outlook.\u00a0 Setup of all mail forwarding and Auto Responses etc. Created <strong>HTML E-mail Templates<\/strong> to increased interactivity with their customers.<br \/>\nAll business and store database and work-flow is updated and stored in Google Docs.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Web Analytics:<\/span><br \/>\nIncorporated full <strong>Google web analytics integration<\/strong> and created basic training manual for all Admins, businesses and staff. The database used is a Normalized Oracle database.
